When you analyse Nigeria's history dispassionately and with a calm head, you will find that the top echelons of the South West political class have always been the least likely to make inflammatory remarks about people or groups outside the region.

That particular man (Ojukwu) had deep hatred for Yorubas.. reason he faced South West before the war broke out, instead of facing North where Igbos suffered mass killings and pogroms in the hand of Northerners. The idea of seeing a Yoruba man sworn-in as elected President must have angered him so much to the point of making such careless utterances.
