Hmm... I don't think he can't defend.
He is sometimes forced to rush his play by opposition WBs. A little Pausa, calmness and decisive passes won't be a bad idea. He has the talent to get himself involved the more.

Well I believe his defensive game may be affecting him getting games because honestly I don't see anything wrong with his attacking aspect.

Unfortunately Arteta will not lose to any of those team but the question is will he win the league at the end of the season because he may end up drawing 3 to 4 games from the opening 6 games.

Personally, I won't be shocked if Arteta gets 12 points from a possible 18 by beating United, Leeds, NF and Newcastle. City and Liverpool are the only matchups I really worry about and Liverpool's is because we are away from home.

IMO this is wrong timing for that tournament as it is a direct embargo on the transfer window already. Clubs will wait and players will want to showcase abilities to woo scouts. They should have just shifted the transfer window if that was their aim all along.
