Well, it's not too much, but the fact is that if you're expecting that kind of profit, the business you'll want to start should be a buy-and-sell operation. Something where you can place orders and resell at a profit margin, you understand?

For example, you could order something from the village market during peak market days, bring it to the city, and sell it there. That way you're guaranteed to make profit from whatever you've spent that day.

But if you're hoping to start any business that involves renting a shop or buying shop items to set up the business, then by the time you handle the business setup, you're already eating deep into your capital.

So what I'd advise is to keep pushing whatever brought you that ₦500k and then start doing Local "dropshipping". You can reach out to people selling gadgets, phones, laptops, and stuff, then start advertising on your WhatsApp status. If you're already getting traction, you can also run ads and post on sites like Facebook Marketplace and Groups, jiji. Post the items you have available, then when people want to buy, the capital that would have gone into setting up a physical shop and premises can instead go directly into getting the goods you'll be selling.

Your chances of being scammed or losing your 500k capital to risky business ventures are higher than making a profit of even 2k daily from any business. Yes, people have started businesses with such an amount and grown it to millions of naira. But it took time, experience/expertise, and reinvesting of their profits into the business. Some weren't even making profits after a year let alone doubling their capital within such a time frame. You need experience, time, and a Dangote truckload of patience, for any business to yield such profits.

The time taken to ask me a question would have better being used in answering the question i.e tell us the menial jobs that'll pay the 20k daily.

You don't start business with extreme greed of making 120% income a year/ 1440% per annum.

You can only get that from those Sports Betting/Forex Trading that you are avoiding because even Dangote & Elon Musk no dae see am.

You should be expecting 1-3k daily from that amount if you are into nylon business. 20k daily from 500k na pure greed.

To pull such kind of moves, you need a strong capital and a plan that you will sell to others which they will invest on like a startup or so.

Number one is location, for example I'm a student here in Benue state, food items such as yam, garri and red oil is very cheap at the village market, but a little bit expensive at the city center..

So u can be going to the village market to buy those things, then supply to some people, if u want to resell it ur self it might actually take up to 1 week.,

Distribution of bread from bakery to sellers (serve as retailer) can give you such profit with minimal risk. Distribution of drinks too can give you such amount on daily bases.

Consider food business. There are good ideas here on that already. Go for it but avoid perishables.
