“When I was giving a sermon in Deeper Life in the presence of Pastor Kumuyi, I made an illustration and mentioned television. My interpreter interpreted the TV as the devil’s box( Apoti esu). I corrected him that I said TV and not devil’s box. He refused my corrections and kept calling it the devil’s box.

The following Sunday, Pastor Kumuyi wrote a piece and declared that if a Christian repairs TV, let alone watching it, that one is a child of the devil.

Upon reading that, I put my Bible under my armpit and said ‘ this is a blatant error’. I left. I was tired of the church.

Imagine the ones that have died believing this. People should learn to know God and hear from Him for themselves.

He spoke about the entire world seeing Him in His full Glory.

I don't think Christ was expecting the entire world to be able to see him with their physical eyes.
If Christ was expecting us to see Him physically from ends of the Earth I am sure the entire world would have seen Him when He ascended to heaven. The technology wasn't available at that time
