Why a highway, don’t they have a government house? Take your grievances to whoever is in power. Ignorance will not be the death of the common Nigerian.

The solution to this madness lies inside Benue. They know it themselves.

How long will they continue to protest and block the highway? Instead of them to organise themselves and defend their land they are stopping innocent motorists from using the road.

Those ones were hired by politicians to deceive the masses
Hired you say? Were they blind? How much was given to each of them and for what purpose?

No wonder, President Buhari called them lazy youth.

My own is can't they put aside their differences, even though we know Benue is made up of several minority ethnic groups from Idomas to Tivs and the rest.
They should form vigilantes and CJTF armed to the teeth like the ones in Borno did to circle the borders of Benue State and comb all the forests in the State to fish out the killers.

Where are the Benue sons and daughters in all these?.. is this how you people will keep queit and be acting du.mb till they wipe out your kinsmen?
This is so annoying mehn.. human beings not spirits going on killing spree as they like and getting away with it. So appalling to say the least.

Are they not the same people that did rally last week to support Tinubu and their Governor?

They have not seen anything yet.
The Fulanis are bent to send the Benue people on extinction.

Lies.. the North is not one.
Why hasn't the core North done anything to assist the Middle Belt in this on-going ethnic cleansing of indigenous Middle Belt ethnic groups by killers of Fulani stock?. If truly North is one, why are the Northern elders forun or Arewa consultative forum not agitated in this senseless killings of Benue people.

This protest if not properly managed might spread all over the country just like EndSars.. it's then all these politicians will know that they are not better than those who vote them into office.

No, they should continue to match in support for 2027, while their families dies in the hands of Fulani Terrorists and Bandits as they are called.

The Time to MATCH is NOW!

Without a credible threat of loss of power at the polls no politician will act in the interest of the people he swears to serve.

That was why this government has been moving quickly to consolidate various executives and legislators to it's side.

It wants to drive a wedge between them and the people they lead knowing it is grossly unpopular and will ordinarily lose the next elections strictly based on performance.

If these people protesting are able to articulate their wishes, grow their actions into a movement and bring that weight to politically standoff against the present government, they will frighten them to the point of action.

Anything short of that will be like water off a ducks back. You have heard from their 'brilliant and best' calling the people, 'noise makers' and 'busy bodies'.

I ain't got no pity for them. Very anyhow homo sapiens.
They had a rally for their mundane governor last week
They know that Akume and Ortom are behind the sh1t going on in Benue, yet they'd prefer to die than mention their names
The governor like Tinubu is only interested in 2027, yet he can never take any drastic action.
Let the benue people go to katsina and Sokoto states and do same at least.
The army commander and Dss are in charge of benue state are complicit. Let them let the world knows because telling Tinubu is a waste of time. Nothing matters to tinubu except his 2027 ambition.
If I were from Benue,.....

Their leaders and the government knows what to do but. wouldn't.

They are just playing politics with people's lives
Playing politics with our wellbeing is the only thing A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC knows. They are cluelessly incompetent in the provision of common services, public facilities and amenities as well as utilities.

Imagine what Fayemi said about the 2012 Ojota fuel deregulation protest that was led by Buhari's 2011 running mate. shocked

Omooba77:
A former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on Tuesday, said the protest that trailed the fuel subsidy removal during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2012 was due to political interests.

Fayemi said this in his keynote address delivered at a national dialogue organised to celebrate the 60th birthday celebration of the founding National Secretary of Alliance for Democracy and Fellow, Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Professor Udenta Udenta in Abuja.

The programme was attended by Jonathan, former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili; former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, among others.

The PUNCH reports that on January 1, 2012, President Goodluck announced the removal of fuel subsidy and adjusted the pump price of petrol from N65 per litre to N141.

The decision sparked mass protests, tagged ‘Occupy Nigeria’ across major cities of the country.

The price was later re-adjusted to N97, after more than a week of protests.

Petrol price was later reduced to N87 in 2015.

Jonathan faced serious backlash for the fuel price adjustment, especially from leaders of the All Progressives Congress, who were then in different opposition parties, including the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, Congress for Progressives Congress, All Nigeria Peoples Party, and All Progressive Grand Alliance.

Finally waking up to the reality.
A community was totally destroyed despite the heavy presence of security men in benue state showed that something is tactically wrong with our security structures and architecture.
