That is not the lie I’m pointing out.

This is the obvious lie.

No lies, I think I've written it here before. I was asking my mum for 50 box but nobody had and they just got back from market where she bought US used bag. I don't know what pushed me to carry the back to search for money, I was even insulted that bag they just bought how will I find money in it. Guess what? I brought out four $20 notes. Genuine ones but then dollars was just 300-350 naira.

I’ve heard many of such stories. Nothing new there. It’s the fact that someone wanted to buy worthless coins for five thousand Naira that I will never believe.

Yeah, I'm not doubting Op too. I was just clarifying matter with the other guy. He doubting Op is valid and you and I believing what op said is valid too, because I see no reason why he would lie.

If he lied about that part...

It's very highly likely he lied about the other part too.

Those abokis don't buy coins. Even the lower denomination bills like 1 dollar they don't buy.

I guess some people lie for fun.

I used to do that when I was probably in like pri 2 or 3.

We called it "fabu" then!

Don't rush to sell it.

Find a professional goldsmith to appraise it for you. Many of these older coins carry significant constituents of gold and silver, which means that sometimes the intrinsic value of the coin might be higher than the numerical value written on it.

More so, most U.S millionaires hold these kinds of coins for their intrinsic value.

This is what I think when aboki want to buy it 5k. Because the last time I went to change 1 dollar they all refuse it saying that it's too small. Why now pricing coins 5k
