I just saw a video of one of Iran’s military spokespeople advising Israeli citizens to leave the country. He explicitly stated that bomb shelters wouldn’t be enough to save them. I’m not sure if he’s bluffing, but it’s interesting to see Iran now using a strategy that resembles one Israel has used in its campaigns against Palestine—and, by extension, even Iran itself.

Whether this is just psychological warfare or a genuine threat, it’s certainly funny to me sha.

By the way, why is Israel trying to drag other countries into this war? At this point, both sides should just take Trump’s advice and put an end to this yeye war. I’m pretty sure the ordinary citizens on both sides aren’t interested in it either.

Well, you may have a point. However, if that’s the case, it does seem like both parties might be struggling in their own ways sha—especially since Israel is receiving air support from the US and UK, while also pushing for direct US involvement in the war against Iran.

Israel is actually going after military installations and missile launchers to weaken the capability of the Iranian military.

But now, it sounds like you’re acknowledging—either directly or indirectly—that Israel wouldn’t be able to win without U.S. backing, even though many of the pro-Isreal supporters still seem convinced otherwise.

actually isreal did not get western support until maybe the 70s-80s

up to that time, they were on their own

i think what changed the tide was the west needing an ally in the region with values more in alignment with western values

the US tried using iraq/Saddam against iran in the 70s -80s and that did not ultimately turn out well

saddam used chemical weapons agianst iran and they all unlooked. then he used them against kurds in iraq and they could not say anything sine they had unlooked the first time
