Federal Commissioner on Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Aruviere Martins Egharhevwa has taken a swipe on aviation giant, Air Peace for flying luggages of passengers to Asaba without them.

According to him, a flight that was scheduled to depart by 2pm was delayed till 4pm and at the point of boarding, they were told that they couldn’t fly with their luggages.

Passengers that were not comfortable with it refused to fly and demanded for their luggage’s to be returned because Asaba wasn’t their final destination.

To their dismay, Air Peace flew the luggages of about 29 passengers to Asaba despite their demands for the luggages to be returned.

He wrote;

“Airpeace should respect themself and behave as if there was no altercation between them and Senator Oshiomole. Because if they continue to defend the nonsense that they are known for, it will be a litany of embarrassment for the airline.

“On Friday, my flight from Abuja to Asaba that was slated for 12:30PM was delayed until 4PM. Unfortunately for some of us, we got to the airport as early as 10:30AM for the flight.

“The other day, we were supposed to leave for Asaba by 2PM, the flight was delayed until 6PM. At the point of boarding we were told that we won’t be flying with our bags. Some of us refused to fly because, Asaba was not our final destination. We requested for our bags to be brought back to us for us to make alternative arrangements.

“I had to re-route my ticket to Benin to fly the next day morning, to enable me meet up with my appointments in Delta. Surprisingly, over 20 of us that refused to fly without our bags to Asaba, had our bags flown to Asaba without us.

“I can go on and on with unpleasant stories about Airpeace and how customers are treated badly without any single apology.”[/i]

Air Peace is trying not to be peaceful nowadays. The Airline giant need to be better organized and co ordinates. This kind of news isn't good for the image of the airline. They shouldn't tarnish the good reputation they built over the years. Tho ,they well known for delaying flights.

The bad review is getting too much they need to do better everybody can't be wrong..


If they're not cancelling flight na delay...

The only Flight Airpeace can not delay and always use for PR are if they're on a repatriation mission...

Patronize them frequently and have some experience yourself so it won't look like anybody's trying to bring them down buh is something they do...

And if people are lying I'm sure by now Airpeace for don sue people tire or make someone a scape goat..


They need to do better that's Ibom Air you can hardly hear any drama about them jus that they're limited they should add more to dere carrier and route maybe if there's more competition Airpeace will sit up...

Useless airline. All in the name of patriotic favour. If you are smart you would avoid them like a plague. They don't even service their planes well. Let's hope no passengers experience a air India situation with them.

Delayed flight for 4 hrs

What's now the essence of using a flight when Abuja to Asaba by road is 6hrs

It is the turn of Airpeace to be called out. GTB had their time and they dealt with it, Air Peace should also deal with theirs, and mend where necessary. Not all criticism is orchestrated by hate.

Asaba wasn't your final destination but you had to redirect your flight ✈️ to Benin the next day because you had a meeting in Delta state 😕😕😕

Exposing Air Peace: 1,000 Lies And Counting

I was present from the beginning to the end of the incident, and I can confirm that Senator Adams Oshiomhole was actually standing up for the rights of the passengers. He was offered VIP treatment in an attempt to placate him, but he firmly rejected it.

Airlines like Air Peace often resort to invoking the “45 minutes before departure” rule to cover up their mismanagement—especially when they overbook flights and bring in smaller aircraft than required. In this case, over 200 tickets were sold, yet the aircraft provided could only accommodate 160 passengers.

Air Peace owes Senator Oshiomhole a public apology. Their press release was not only misleading but also typical of the airline’s pattern of behavior.

They now want Air Peace down by all means. Remember you don’t have national carrier, if air peace shut down domestic operation, una go see weeeeeeeiiii for that country

I logged into my account just because of your ignorant comment. You must be living in a cave and do not know how useless the once sought after Air Peace have become.

Air Peace is set for collapse within a year. They have become the most useless airline in Nigeria as we speak.

Most corporate clients no longer fly Air Peace to avoid missing out on critical business appointments.

I have recently approved flights for a couple of my reports in the office, and we ensure it is never Air Peace.

all these reports about Air peace ineptitude, poor customer service of cancelling fights at will and poor logistics aren't new. They are mostly in the news for wrong things. I hardly heard of any regular flying person that hasn't had unpleasant experience with the airline.

Air Peace should get ahead of this and address it if they want to remain in business.

The confusing part of the post was the fact that they were supposed to fly from Abuja to Asaba, but then Asaba was not their final destination so he rerouted his ticket to Benin to still be able to meet up with obligations in Delta.🤔🤔🤔🤔

You cannot be on a business trip and be relying on Air Peace.
