Not just engine fault

I just discovered that my Toyota Camry 08 throttle plate actuator hose is not connected to the throttle at all.

One end of the hose is connected to the intake valve (I think) while the other end that is supposed to be connected to the throttle valve is not connected (they now use something to block the hose)

My car has been rough idling especially when the engine is hot. Could this be the cause?

My engineer in the house, pls help.

Very possible if you have vacuum issues which that exposed hose could cause in other not to fly blindly, get the car scanned, check fuel trim data also to know what we’re dealing with. I’ve also included a picture of your manifold is that the hose you’re referring to ?

Hmmm first you need a good technician to help and check d fluid level if low or not.
Second, the oil cooler need to be inspected to see the condition.
Third just replace the fluid with original ws oil ohh allow it run properly and take for another test drive.

Look out for shock absorbers and suspension squeaks. Engine and gbox are usually solid if well maintained by previous owner.

I want to purchase one

Hard wearing and great for Powertrain scanning and Check Engine Lights removal. I don't think it would do TPMS, AIRBAGS SRS, ABS or module programing. Price seems reasonable for a simple diy tool.

Have the transmission cooling pipes checked if it has been disconnected from the coolant radiator and looped. Thats the most likely cause if not a faulty Transmission Temperature Sensor.

Its best to take a picture of the actual thing with the connection as in place and post rather than this illustration. Your description is a bit confusing.

Good day Chief, a hose is attached to the highlited nipple but the hose was blocked with a screw in my 2006 Toyota Camry, I have looked around the engine and no where is opened.

Please I have a question my dashboard speed cluster is showing gibberish and Flickers most of the time , and I think it's expensive to replace ,


so I want to know if there is any Android Radio ,that will display fuel gauge and temperature for me , I want to changed the radio to android

So that I can monitor my fuel gauge and temperature from the android screen of the radio

Your description is quite vague, no car brand, model and model year. I doubt though, most will only just show you the speedometer as well as rpm reading

As suggested, your transmission oil might be low.
Do an oil level check to confirm this.
