This killings must stop, enough is enough of heinous killings in Benue state. Governor Alia isn't doing enough.

This is what you get in a country where politics is more important than human lives. We are in country where drug barons and certificate forgers are rulers. A country where rulers are busy chasing 2027 instead of 2025. A country where some citizens choose religion, tribal, political and social sentiment over competency. A country where some useless youths are fighting themselves over useless politicians instead of uniting together to fight the common goal of all.

A picture is clearly forming now. The governor says Benue indigenes in Abuja are behind these killings.
On Sunday, a large herd of cows belonging to a Benue house of reps member were spotted in Makurdi being led by 6 Fulani herdsmen and escorted by a coterie of police escorts.

There are several incidents where cattle get stolen and not necessarily by the natives. The Fulani in charge know that they can't go and give their Tiv and idoma bosses story. So they either kidnap for ransom to replace the stolen cows or they kill for revenge where they can't.

Benue people need to ask themselves this. When your tor Tiv got sworn in, how many cows did the sultan of Sokoto give him as gifts? How many cows were given to the Ochi Idoma?

Every major politician in Benue state was given gifts of cows and these cows are in the care of Fulani. That's why the Fulani operate with brazen confidence.


Nothing wrong with having and keeping cows. But when your people are being killed it smacks of insensitivity to have the killers of your people under your employment.

That's why they fought Governor Ortom for the anti-grazing laws he put in place. That is why you can't find any Benue politician speaking out against these killings. Why will they? Their cows are more important.

Skit makers and comedians are now protesting against the huge killings going on benue state. Something must done fast.

The Governor said he knew those behind the insecurity in his state and he cannot speak up till his people are no more.And they are still voting and campaigning for APC,sorry to say,but Benue people get problem aswear.In some places in the North the people sometimes formed group of hunters or vigilante group and confront those bandits even though the bandits have superior weapons but Benue people chose to fight themselves.The disunity among them is giving those bandits the morale to attack them more often.Benue have many top Politicians and Generals but as it's every man for himself there,they can't do anything.The earlier they stop the hatred within them and come together,the better for them.RIP to the dead.

As long as it isn't for content sake, no problem.
