It's been a while I get gigs from nairaland, I stopped this as a web developer and a graphics designer cos the tide has shifted completely! Job givers are now the scammers. You'd work for someone and they'll just stow away with your money.

I hit this thread on Saturday and decided to contact the company. We spoke agreed on a price and he instructed me to deliver the design by Sunday (it's an ad banner; 4 designs).

I knew Sunday might be too busy for me due to religious activity, I then told him I'll send his project and he can pay after seeing the designs.

At first, I wanted to add watermarks to the design, but I just realised that the amount the design is does not worth it, it's very little.

I sent him 4 designs that same Saturday and since then, he was acting reluctant to reply messages. The next thing he replied was 'I like only 2 out of the 4, redesign another 2'.

I immediately did this, but asked for payment before sending anymore design.. Since that Saturday, he has been acting off with excuses, ignoring messages, etc.

I told him I'll call him out and pls check his response in the screenshot below.

Although it's a little gig but it's my money no matter how little it is
If I don't get paid in next 24hrs I'll make sure your company shows 'SCAM' whenever intending Clients search for your name on google

Guys let's help this guy troll that number or report him on whatsapp. It's not good doing this to people
