Loneliness kills birds than you would ever imagine. Always keep birds in larger cages and in multiples. These small cages would always lead to their deaths. It's a prison cell, not a cage

In as much as I sympathise with you on this, because pet is one of man's best friend, but do you usually take good care of them, by taking them to vet once in a while, rather than just keeping them in the cake and feed them?

I am bird lover, but my conscience would not allow me to imprison any bird to certify myself. Please find other ways to love birds. Don’t put them in a cage, they are meant to be free.

Next time you get another bird, which you shouldn't, put it in a bigger cage or just admire them as they fly by.

Now imagine you and imagine the guy up on the beanstalk. He comes down to earth and somehow captures you. He calls you "my precious", build a tiny room, puts a bowl of water which he may forget to change some days and food he thinks you like...let's say corn seeds cos this bird didn't tell you what it liked.
He locks you in this room 24 hours a day ...what would you do? Wouldn't you rather die?

i very right you cant be harm what you love, i love them too but nature want them to roam freely....he should get him self a parrot instead it wont fly away

I see people who cage birds as weirdos and very wicked.

You dey cage and raise something that is meant to be free. Na so una dey cage and raise children till they become depressed, unhappy, introvert that can't even be independent
