We can’t dispute the fact that artificial intelligence is so helpful to humans, and it has reduced the stress and hassle in the workplace. This same AI has made so many people so lazy that they can’t think straight on their own.

For instance, the year before artificial intelligence came into existence, everyone was using their brain to write and think. Ever since we all adopted artificial intelligence into our lives, we can no longer think on our own.
It has gotten to the point that even our bosses are no longer demanding ideas from us. Instead, they go online, type in a few prompts, and boom, AI does the thinking and coding. Before, my boss would ask me to write some code or generate ideas for our web project. But now? He just types a few sentences into different AI and tells me to “touch it up.”

How do you expect someone like me to improve if I don’t get to think? I mean, AI is now coding for my boss. It's gradually taking over our responsibilities, and guess what? We are letting it.
It’s funny how we begged for jobs and prayed for opportunities to prove ourselves, but now that we finally have them, we are giving them out to machines. I’m not against AI, but it’s like we are slowly pushing ourselves out of relevance.

Maybe it’s time to ask ourselves: are we growing with AI, or are we letting it grow in place of us?
Let’s not allow technology to make us useless. Use AI, but don’t lose your human intelligence.

Using AI for coding today is like switching from horses to cars, it’s a transformative leap. With AI, skilled programmers can now develop more complex applications that would takes years before, but now it can be done in a fraction of the time.

This is a funny statement. What year do you think “AI came into existence”? My first encounter with AI was in 2003, with the Russel Norvig book - Artificial Intelligence: A modern approach (2nd ed). And by then AI hadn’t just been in existence. Probably came into existence in the 60s with the Turing Test looking to evaluate how “intelligent” AI was.

What you refer to as “the year AI coming into existence” is when it became available in the Consumer space

Not only coding but designing, uI interface, graphics design etc ai don sweep everything

I don’t even bother this days, I use Ai to code…

I just copy and paste and if any error, I copy the error and tell it to correct it and use it to run my analysis

But is AI replacing my job… not at all. I do more of strategic analysis which requires human interaction. AI can’t make our strategic decisions for us, it can only give us recommendations

Everything that has an advantage has a disadvantage. The advise is to upgrade your skills or be left behind. Life is moving fast. Only the mobile will progress. The rigid will be LEFT BEHIND

Your points are valid... However, A.I is the future, whether we like it or not.

The only constant thing in every age and generation is CHANGE in the forward direction...

You can either align with that change by improving yourself or stay stuck in the past complaining.


I have since embraced Artificial Intelligence without necessarily foregoing my personal need for self-improvement.


A.I with all its efficiency, speed, and ease can never replace the Human touch or feel... That's why smart people are still needed and well paid to work out the generic kinks in A.I products.

A.I has also given or created careers within its sphere like A.I design, management, automation, teaching/instructing, etc...!

It's left for you to find your place within the changing environment of any industry you find yourself... Don't stay obsolete and stagnant in your knowledge.

Same goes for journalists, academicians and secretarial duties.

Funny enough AI is simply watering down efforts and skills.

This has been what was predicted. Its all the Sci fi movies. Its the way the world must go and there is nothing we can do about it

Really AI is the future but you have to know the basic knowledge of programming language too. It's not everything the AI will do. It's just little. Like python, html and CSS including php and other programming language. It's very important you know it before you delve into AI.

You dey learn work AI till take over.......

The problem is that politics is far behind technology. That is why everyone is talking about work.
If politics and technology ever get along, government will be funding innovations that would get machines do everything for you. You just have to eat,play and sleep.

Since the older centuries, improvement and changes in the way things are done have been happening... This age can't be different.

So, the assertion of watering down effort and skills can be argued differently.


A.I is not making intelligent people lazy... It's making them channel their intelligence in better and more efficient ways.

Even without AI, lazy and dull people will always be lazy and dull...!

There is virtually no industry that has remained the same since prehistoric times... None!!!


Back in the day, it took me hours and days to come up with articles and PowerPoint presentations, with so much frustrating delays due to brain stress, yet the pay for my efforts never measured up...!

Today, I can do the same with A.I assistance without stress and still able to produce even better outputs.
