Iran supported them alot during this ukraine conflict all just for them to stay idle and be watching.
Whatever deal US made with them against iran, they should know they will break it when they are through with iran and wants to deal with russia.
US is an unstable country to rely on. They have torn so many agreements against russia since 1991, they won't hesitate to do it again.
If iran goes down, russia will go down too sooner or later.

I understand how it feels. I mean, USA moved two THAAD systems to Israel and participated in interceptions while offering intel, tankers, finance, and everything else under the sun for Israel. They planned the whole thing from the beginning to the end together.

But then, who is really at fault? You don't need to be a student of history before you know that there's no way Israel would do something audacious to you without American backing and even if you manage to prevail, there is absolutely no way America and its European dogs would fold their arms and weep as you bomb Israel back to stone age. Iran doesn't have such kind of relationship with Russia.

Going nuclear was its best security guarantee, but why do that when the Supreme leader has a hit song that prohibits it? Why do that when you have the Most High, the Most Gracious on your side? I know this is easier said than done but I could think of different theories that could have made it possible for them to join the nuclear club. Of course any idea must involve Iran taking its internal security seriously like North Korea did. Aside the nuclear route, they had the option of boosting alliance with Russia but they rejected it because hey, they've got thousands of flying cocks to deter all enemies, including those backed by the richest and strongest countries of the world. I will never understand why someone would see the lies and silly excuses used against Saddam, Ghaddafi, and Assad and still think he's dealing with reasonable actors.

So please, don't blame Russia. The Ayatollah and the people that failed to take him out are all to blame for this. Many of us saw this coming.

I will only share my thoughts on Russia, China, and the Axis wrt this war after its conclusion.

For the record, I still do believe that regardless of who did what, Russia, China, and NK do have to come through for Iran in a way that ensures its survival as a breakout nuclear state at the minimum. Simply voting in a UN resolution or providing targeting data is not enough.
