Never try to compare yourself with a man's mother - in anything - you'll understand soon if you're a good mother to your kids. Leave his adoration of mum's food (he's had atleast 2+ decades cherishing it).

Secondly, not all men like the idea of travelling across the world in the dinning table - sometimes, a man just wants to eat eba - not Thai.

You missed it from the beginning it was you and your husband before the kids,if he loves the mum way of cooking why can't you learn from the mum allow peace to reign and for us nairalanders to enjoy our local dishes
