Knowing fully well that Hamas killed and captured Israelites, you can't expect mercy from Israel. In the case of Iran, the mission is clear:stop Iran from obtaining nuclear capabilities, take-out their top leaders. If Israel wanted to harm Iranian civilians, Iran would bleed red,like Gaza.However,Iran's approach seems more about targeting civilians to score cheap points and give their supporters something to suck on.

Israel is like that stubborn friend who'd say-"let's go fight",just fund my ammunition since yur rich. The US understands this fierceness, which is why Israel is their top ally.
