Wrong. What you are talking about is governed by the Logistics Support Agreement (LSA) that USA always forces its partners to sign. Only, in India's case, India categorically refused to sign this agreement. As a result an India specific agreement named the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA) was signed between USA and India. The entire reason behind this was to ensure India's strategic autonomy.


As a direct result of the above, any US asset that is actively participating in an operation against a third nation will NEVER be allowed to use Indian airspace. This was one of the major sticking points when India had signed the LEMOA contract with USA.

First cut the crap about one nation forcing another to sign an agreement. Consent is an important factor in every agreement and it cannot be gotten via dubious means. If gotten via dubious means, it can be challenged in a court of competent jurisdiction. What you are referring to as "forcing to sign" is actually an agreement made from a position of power. A situation where the offeror has a better negotiating power than the offeree or vice versa.
By saying "forcing to sign", you are only trying to deface the US which is only privileged because it is conducting its negotiation from a position of power.
All this kind of agreement exist in almost every ramification of human contracts. For instance, before opening an account on Facebook, or use a software, you are required to agree to the terms and conditions, failure of which you cannot use their service. Are they also "forcing you to sign?" I will be waiting in the comments....
