I'm having trouble with my NIN record, as my date of birth doesn't match. I need to correct it urgently to access my pension fund. I've tried approaching some individuals who claim to offer NIN modification services, but they're quoting ₦80,000, which seems excessive.

You can do it on the nin self service website though you will need affidavit

I did mine for less than 30k. Just budget 40k or 35k. And visit any NIMC office around you fir guidance.

not yet. hope to get to local Government council next week as directed. Self service process is effective only when all required documents and RRR are handy

You only need attestation letter for certificate of birth from NPC which will be gotten online not from Local government.

It's let say 3k-4k.

Then you will pay the NIMC 28 or 30k.

I did mine in April and everything cost maybe 34k including sorting out the NIMC staffs.

The best thing is to go to a NIMC office and meet one of their officials to help you with it. I did that and I gave them 6k. Plus the printing and use of their background wallpaper because you will need to snap yourself.

Their help is necessary.

You can do it. I cleared my browsing history that's the problem, I would have just sent you the links I used.

Yes. You will see a option where you can edit it.

There is one serial number in the registration make sure you copy it ooo

Yes. That was what I wanted to change.

I was actually trying to correct the d.o.b on my nin.

That's the 3k. Pay it and wait for like 15 mins.

Then click on the check status to download.

Pray to God it's successful because if it's not you will have to pay another 2k at another website which I don't know.

The nin self service is a scam.waste of time. I paid 3k since last year Sept andtill now when it says submit. It will show error value,bla bla bla.from 8am to 4pm. Nigeria is dead

None for now. It always gets stucked with a request for documents from the NPC and the RRR

Make sure you copy the serial number and then go to https://selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng/ to start the NIN registration.
