Because most domain companies now sell first time buyer for cheap and exorbitant renewal price the following year.

Company like Go-Daddy, pork'pun hos-tinger and other would sell for 0.99 at $20 renewal

What host is to generous to you curious to know? Spaceship or......

Renewal price is #17,000 naira. I'm considering getting a .xyz domain too. That's #3,400. Not that expensive, i guess

Do they allow domain push?

I hope they can be contacted anytime. I don't understand how I will not be able to access my cpanel for weeks and my hosting company is not responding to messages, not even picking calls

Those guys are reachable. Their Whatsapp support group makes it easy to reach them.
