You will mind all these comments of hypocrisy? They all knew that isreal doesn't have the card anymore, and the only country to rescue them is the US. But it's a war of allies. US needs to think well before going to a war that doesn't concern them. You can't love America more than the American. The vote shows that they don't want to go to unnecessary war, especially against many nuclear power state.

If US eventually go for the war, they could win or not but with a lot of damages that will take them years to recover. Or they should follow iran initial option, to denuclearize the middle east. That means, both middle east giants will not have nuclear weapons.
