Plus there is no reason to separate the Russian Federation from the Russian empire in this case. They're continuation of one another. Same people and same territory. Just different politics. So, just go on with it.

Weird to say, but Trump doesn't really need Congress approval to attack Iran. On paper, he needs the approval, but in reality, he can just sidetrack it and continue with his attack.

Obama did same in 2011 when he attacked Libya without Congress approval. Trump could basically just do the same thing at this point and he will get away with it, just like Obama.
