@tunzdomains

Bro, please do you have any update on the date the embassy is currently treating?

I have someone who joined the waiting list around 19th March (in Nigeria) but the person is still on the waiting list... Kindly inform, thanks.

The last applicant I know here joined the waitlist march 13th and I also know someone who joined March 16th and he is still waiting for them to ask him to submit. The person might be asked to submit this week or next week.

good day. Please I’m confused on how to go about the health insurance. Do I need to pay for 12 months dr Walter’s insurance? I was thinking I could pay on arrival. Cos the money too long.

You only start paying when you get to Germany. All you need right now is the contract

Nah, still waiting for them

Question to everyone - Did anyone receive a request to submit for preliminary review yesterday, and to those currently in the preliminary review stage, did anyone hear back from them yesterday?

Thanks for your assistance you have rendered so far here; we do appreciate alot.
pls i have few Questions:

1. Someone going with his spouse, both need to apply differently right, even though they both specify that they would be going with a partner?

2. can both of them use the same Block Account; maybe the double of the required 13k euros?

3. Can they use a block account of 13k euros and also a sponsorship letter from someone in Germany?

4. When does the health insurance comes in and pls the link to a health insurance that can be used.

Thanks for your response

If it's €15/hr, you'll earn 900+ after tax. Which does not meet the 13k requirements. That must have been the reason they needed the sponsorship letter.

Still reply to them based on my last reply and let's see the response
I just got this response;

"Thank you for your reply, we will get back to you soon. we have seen your employment contract, but very likely you will need to submit a blocked account to make up for what you will earn which will not be up to the required 13092 Euros, needed to block an account for your category of visa"

and i responded on the portal with this;

"Thank you for your response and for reviewing my application. I appreciate your clarification regarding the need for a blocked account to cover the shortfall. Kindly let me know the exact additional amount I need to deposit in my blocked account to meet the financial requirement."

QUESTION:
-- After saving my response in the portal chat, do I still need to click "Send Correction"? Will my response be visible to the consulate after saving it, or is an additional step required?

-- Also, if my earnings after tax amount to approximately €900+ per month, lets say €900 that would total around €10,800 for the year (900 × 12). Since the required amount is €13,092, the difference is €2,292. Would it be acceptable to deposit €2,500 into my blocked account to cover this shortfall and avoid any delays?

No need to send for correction. They'll see it in real-time.

Yes, they'll calculate and inform you of the exact amount to deposit into your block account. For now, just chill and wait. The German system is one of the most meticulous systems in the world. If you meet the requirements, they'll grant you the visa.

1. Yes. The main advantage of indicating the application of your spouse is to give you guys an extra point (in case either of you happens to use the point system).

2. No. The block account is legally bound to one person. So each of you must submit two different proofs of funds. Either SL/BA or a part-time contract with €1091 net(After tax)

3. You can use one sponsorship letter if the sponsor is eligible to cater for two. Some people can sponsor up to 3 persons at a time. Just make sure the sponsorship letter is marked "Nachgewiesen" on the back. Meaning the creditworthiness has been proven. Else, total rejection. You won't even pass for Preliminary review.

4. You can upload it during preliminary review, or take it with you on the interview date.

Upload your international passport for now. When it's time for preliminary review, make sure you have it and upload it before sending it to them to review your application
