It seems Taco ( trump always chickens out) trump wants to put a reverse gear but you never know. I don’t blame taco, if the missiles start dropping on us army bases and embassies, a lot will die for a useless war that was not necessary at all. I actually saw taco as a lesser evil and wanted him to win, he campaigned on peace in Ukraine and the Middle East. I now believe he should be impeached, and Kamala would have been better.

They won't be able to intercept all of them. They should just expect those aircraft carriers to end up at the bottom of the sea. I'm sure Iran must have weighed every option and scenario, they will have surprises for the USA as well. Who knows maybe this will finally be the final nail on US hegemony coffin. The world is watching

Anti-ship missiles are different from typical missiles.

The US is fearful because the capabilities Iran has displayed so far with regular missiles has rewritten their expectations of what an Iranian anti-ship missile barrage could accomplish.

Interestingly, ships have the best air defense systems. They work against drones, regular missiles, and anti-ship missiles.
Plus, they're a moving target.
The BIG drawback is that they have a limited stock.
When the stock is exhausted, the ship becomes a sitting duck that must leave the theater, hopefully, under the protection of sister ships.

Everything hinges on the success of taking out Fordow.
If the US can't take it out, it will accept a nuclear deal that incorporates most of Iran's demands to end the war.

Pull up a map and look up how close US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar are to Iran. It's a target rich environment and Iran has not yet used its short-range missiles in this war. It is Fordow or nothing. There's no plan B.

Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the Supreme Leader to do that, and it would take a couple of weeks to complete the production of that weapon.
