University of Port Harcourt Staff Shine in China: Teaching Chinese Language

The University of Port Harcourt's staff has taken center stage in China, impressively teaching the Chinese language as part of a staff exchange program. This showcases their expertise and highlights the university's growing global partnerships.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Georgewill shared the exciting news on his social media page.

He wrote:

"The University of Port Harcourt staff on exchange: Chinemerem teaches Chines language in China. Our staff took the centre stage to teach flawless Chines language. Staff of the University led by Professor Jalu Wosu are currently in China on exchange program. We commend the Consul General of China in Lagos for this collaboration and support to the University of Port Harcourt."

Go with Spanish first if you choose to. Spanish is easier to learn and has a wider geographical spread than Portuguese.

This is a very good news. Chinese Language is very important. The level of Chinese Technologies and human capital in Nigeria has made it mandatory for us to start the teaching of the language beginning from our Secondary school.

I observed that Nigerian technicians working with Chinese Technicians and engineers at Chinese Trucks assembly plant and Chinese Trucks repairs yards in Nigeria will gain much if they understand the basic language being spoken by those Chinese.

In 2020 a friend of mine told me there are lots of Nigerians ( mainly Igbos) with presence in China markets that are doing really good. He patronizes them whenever he travels to China. They speak the language. That is very good.

Very soon it will be capability to speak Chinese that some people will be using to determine literacy like they do with English, some people are just born to be slaves of others and not proud of their language.
