Why are the Northern youths angry with Tinubu and pulling down his billboards.

Of course, we all agreed that Tinubu has not performed well but the anger of the northerners is that Tinubu is still alive and functioning as president.

They thought he was sick during the campaign and will end up like Umaru Musa Yar'adua so that Kashim Shettima will take over

But the man is far smarter than them

And will always be smarter than them , be alive and healthy... ( If that's the reason for their hatred) Their permutations failed and will continue failing..

Tinubu will not be the first Southwesterner to have been voted by the North. Northerners voted him because they genuinely believed he was capable and sincere enough to change Nigeria's fortunes. It had nothing to do with his health status because Northerners know and believe only God gives and take lives. That he would turn around to betray respected Northern leaders and renegade on his promises to Nigerians is not something to gloat about. It may be a thing in Yorubaland but certainly not in the North.

They voted him First of all which North? Atiku won more states in the North East and North West

Tinubu won a few states because he is Muslim and Obi lost because he is Ibo and Christian

If You compare Tinubu to Buhari there is no way any sane person can say Buhari did better

Not to mention that a large part of the security and economic woes are Buhari's legacy but these same so called Northerners never burned his billboards

They can't even buy ram for Salah anymore.

Since the destruction of Pablo's billboard, I've never seen any Yoruba man or mandate standers throw jabs against the northerners? Like what's happening, cus I know if it were East, you will see many jobless illiterates (either from North or from SE) speaking and typing rubbish, running insults on innocent people including obi. But since this recent issue, I've never seen anyone make bold steps to criticize the actions of the North against their brother who made heaven and earth fr them. And mind you, I'm not igbo neither I'm from East, so know how you make a fooool of yourself with tribalism.

@the bolded! Stop this silly generalisations! Tinubu has done well. Performance cannot be judged by the cost of a plate of rice!
Judgement should be based on where the country was when he took over and where it is today.
I know the next thing you'll do is start comparing the cost of rice and beans! But as Nigerians, let's ask ourselves this question! Were our financial future guaranteed before 2023 compared to now?
