With the news I read here on a daily regarding Indians and drugs, it seems that country is the headquarter for serious drug deals.

I think it is more to do with the fact India ended mandatory death sentence for drug dealing in 2011.

It is therefore now more attractive to drug dealers and traffickers than nations where it is automatic death row if convicted of a drug dealing or trafficking offence.

Lol. I am sure some People are making India regret ending the mandatory death sentence they had in place for drug dealing and trafficking before 2011.

Will be difficult to bring it back but they should consider life in Prison to replace the 10 to 20 years jail sentence that is currently the stiffest punishment the law can hand out in India for drug offences today.
