That's not true. Isreal's Iron Dome isn't a defence against ballistic missiles. With the number of missiles Iran has fired into Isreal so far, most Isreali cities are supposed to be in rubbles. No one said the Iron Dome is complete bullet proof. The Iranians know most of their missiles will be intercepted so they fired at will to overload it. Not one Isreali military base, supply base or major military infrastructure has been hit yet

This is a war between two giants. Every one of them will receive a bloody nose, but in the end, the war will go through a diplomatic course and Iran will sign off on a stop to enrichment of uranium in Iranian soil.
Syria and Lebanon will sign a peace accord with Israel and Iran will be isolated or go through a regime change.

OP, Israel is not pretending anything. Iran is really hammering them. It is delusional to think otherwise. Aside the massive cost of the infrastructure damages in Israel, the reputation damage is out of this world if it's true. Also why make Iran expend their missile stockpile by allowing them destroy infrastructures and k!ll their citizens, when they can simply demonstrate the proneness of their iron dome and military might by taking them out? Really, have you check online to know the number of missiles shot at Isreal so far? If the Iron Dome is actually iron condemn as you now call it, then 90% of the missiles from Iran are rubber missiles because there is no other way to explain why a building can still be seen standing in Isreal or that people can be seen walking the streets despite such hug number of missiles.

I didn't say they need more data that's another moniker.
Only trying to let you know the physics behind those missiles. If isreal iron dome was not working you would have seen a lot of casualties.
How many Israel citizens have been killed so far ?
The iron dome not only intercepts but gives warning ahead of time so people can stay in shelter. Each Israeli home has a bomb shelter.
