The beautiful marriage Pastor Kumuyi and Deeper Life’s marriage committee said NO to, is 28 yrs old today! Thank God Sister Funke and Bro Femi knew God personally and could hear His voice. They knew what God told them and never allowed men no matter how spiritually strong dissuade or stop them. They left Deeper Life and went to another church to get wedded. It has been marital bliss since then.

I would have loved to hear the complete story! However, I'm glad the marriage was done in spite of...as the family looks very beautiful. Ultimately, no man should be able to dictate how you conduct your affairs. Even God the Father gave us all the ability to choose (freewill). God bless Pastor Kumuyi though.

i akso watched tv from people's window when my dad sold our tv because deeper life is against it.
But we are the rebellious type,when when started doing jobs and getting money after secondary school,we contributed and bought TV and vcd.
Warned our dad to stay clear of our tv and we meant it
He denied us fun for no reason.
I play video games with my kids and watch films with them.

The marriage committee might advice an intending couple not to get married if they are both AS but if the couple are convinced of the will of God in marriage and therefore go ahead to get married and end up procreating healthy children would you blame the church for not joining them in holy matrimony? The marriage committee ionly serves as a guide for intending couples. Believers should be sure of their convictions and trust God to see it through. It should not be a do or die affair.
