It is with the utmost sadness that I once again reaffirm what I have consistently said: Nigeria has become a crime scene.https://x.com/PeterObi/status/1936006807937335525?t=dVz6HAjG1B10Puqdjqk3Kw&s=19

helinues:Peter Obi no call your god name oooooo. He only spoke of corruption and you are triggered? Why? Even at that, does the death of over 200 people not make Nigeria a crime scene? How many do want to be killed before you face the truth? Why are you enraged that someone pointed at corruption that has strangled this country? So he should keep quiet while the country sinks into the abyss? Not everyone is happy with the rot in the country. |

Peter Obi is the only Nigerian politician who talks before thinking. No wonder a legend said his comments are now becoming neurotic and petty. |

How do you steal from a country already bleeding and still expect her to breathe? ₦210 trillion gone. No arrests. No shame. No consequence. What we call government is a criminal cartel in suits. But the truth has a way of rising, louder, stronger, and eventually unstoppable. A new Nigeria must not just be a dream. It must be the uprising |

It is not Peter Obi but the Nigeria Senate who revealed that From 2017 to 2023 They stole ₦210 trillion in NNPC While Our national budget total budget for those years was N88. 010 trillion And someone with conscience who has not eaten square meal will come online to defend those who stole our resources and those who does nothing about the thrives. I'm ashame of those defending this rubbish. Your support for these people has embolden and empower them to continue stealing the resources that will have been use to develop this country for your children, grand and great grand children . Your stupidity is drawing us backwards |

Interesting observation from Peter Obi that must be carefully scrutinized. In accounting jargon, accrued expenses are not inherently fraudulent; they record past expenses that must be paid. For example, if you run a company and you have used diesel from your supplier which you have not paid for, that is a liability. You must pay for it. If you knocked and did not pay, that is an accrued expense. What would make it fraudulent is if there was no service or goods provided like those who claimed subsidy payments without supplying petrol. Accrued expenses are not illegitimate. I think the NNPC CFO explained the sources of the accruals. Unaccounted receivables refer to what is owed a company and has not been captured by their financial systems. What could lead to unaccounted receivables could be poor accounting procedures, lack of manpower, improper invoicing, forex instabilities, poor oversight, or it could be used for fraudulent activities. There is no statement that the unaccounted receivables would not be accounted for. The NNPC CFO needs to answer some questions on why the sum became so much. He is FCA and highly competent; so we'd expected standard accounting practice from him. He needs to release a statement to reconcile the accruals and receivables and clear the air. Mr Peter Obi needs to engage accounting experts so that when he releases statements, it would come from a place of clarity and proper understanding of accounting and audit procedures. We commend him for raising alarm, despite the limitations. Finally, I summed up the budget figures he reeled out from 2017. Does his calculator have rounding errors? |

What is the value of NNPCL that over 200trillion is embezzled in 10years. Putting up sensational comment is just an attempt to whip up sentiment. Obi know that the majority illiterate followers won't do a check analysis to determine the accuracy of the figure. He is sure they will jump on the discussion the moment he mention corruption. Can Obidients provide the receipt of oil sales in 10 years that amounted to 300 trillion. They should equally provide the liabilities and expenses incurred in the said period and give us the balance. Because Obi got away with mediocre during his time and his poor performance rewarded him with money and power doesn't mean the present Obidients will benefit from same lack of intelligence |
