@INTERPOL_HQ donates crime scene investigation kits and other equipment to the Forensic Department of the Nigeria Police Force and the Maritime Crime Investigation Desk (MCID) of the @NigerianNavy.

The INTERPOL Vice President (Africa) and Head of INTERPOL NCB in Nigeria, AIG Umar Baba Garba, psc, alongside the representative of INTERPOL Maritime Security, Mr. Olude Azeez, presented the equipment today, May 12, 2023, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently appointed AIG Umar Baba Garba to the position of Senior Security Adviser on International Police Cooperation and Counter-terrorism, so that he can continue to hold his position as Interpol Vice President after his retirement from the Police Force and he can continue to ensure that Nigeria gets donations like the one above.
