Most medical students have this support base you can always count on no matter what.
Remember during my days as a medical student, no matter how tough things are, Muslim student society and Fellowship of Nigerian medical student always come to people's aid.
They have patrons who will pay your school fees if your matter is escalated to them.
I know several rich kids who helped their friends pay school fees multiple times.
For a student to drop out in 500 level due to school fee? E go hard.

It is not impossible but sounds really unbelievable and heartbreaking to read this story. He was almost done, though at toughest stage. 1yr and final year are kind of the most difficult years in school.

Also you're wrong about Nigerians on things like this. Even here on NL people have committed suicide after trying so hard to raise money. There are cases all over of brilliant kids joining trade or leaving school.for lackm9f money!

Yeah that's why I say if you have parents that supports you up to university level my brother be thankful to them and appreciate them very well , many people never got the privilege, I remember when I was still in level 100 , there is this guy studying law , his father is a foam manufacturing big man with different properties in this country, all he wanted is for his son to go study law then take over his companies do you know that this guy was involved with cult activities to a point the university expelled him , this is someone that has a rich father , then he lived a big self contained apartment well furnished but he messed up the opportunity, us way no get got dropped out that's life .

Exactly. Cases like that abound.
Though on the other hand there are people who diligently listened to parents and stayed in school while others were hustling money, then after graduation have to forget that degree and go hustling to survive like others

You can only fight so much. Besides, some people are very brilliant at book but no good at handling the intricases of life

It might be true cos as a medical student if you are not meeting up, you will be forced to withdraw or switch to a less demanding department.

Based off of testimonials I've heard and read online, the Nelfund student loans works and there's a way the folks giving it out are gearing up to collect it using iron-clad strategies. But that's by the way.

Second, there are folks who started off hawking things in several parts of the world, gathered some more funds after managing to sleep rough, and then moved on to more lucrative businesses.

If he really went to Medical School, then the young man should be able to use the Internet and/or AI tools to literally search for business opportunities and problems he can solve for people and monetize, learn how to trade in the financial markets through competent training programs, and boost his financial literacy.

The richest people on the face of this planet are NOT business owners but investors. Anybody who wants to leapfrog economically must keep that mind.

reason I said we have controlled choices is because humans have self will.see it this way,someone comes to your house and you offered him a seat,instead of sitting he decides to stand. That moment he has to make a choice between sitting or standing.At the same time the choices he has are limited or controlled.

You're now on a second degree program and that's the essence of surmounting those challenges of life. Failure literally rewires the brain cells to enable people to see practical solutions within problems... Which are the things those born with "silver spoons" cannot easily deduce UNLESS they've been brought up by their rich parent(s) to see life from the street level.

Yep. He'd be doing all that while at the same time dealing with everyday wahala. Also, remember some people are good at book but that's it. They can't handle intricacies of real life.

How do you know you have free will? That man, how come a fortune teller can tell whether he'd "choose" to sit or stand. Free will will make prophecies impossible because a different choice by just one individual will set off a chain of events that will produce completely different outcome
