This snake was killed in my compound this morning. It really got everyone scared, infact since i came back from church i kept checking my room to see if there's another one. What specie of snake is this?

That is a forest cobra, it will make a very tasty meal, it can be processed for its leather, the meat can be used for barbecue or protein in soup or stew, the intestines as feed for chicken or fish.
But unfortunately most of it might just be wasted by burning it, if buried it will turn to manure.
So use it wisely.

That looks like a Tinubulated cobra otherwise known as the Agbadolae Tinubulation
