Many people wonder if current global events—wars, natural disasters, moral decline, and political unrest—point to the nearness of Jesus’ second coming. The Bible, especially in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, outlines signs that will precede His return, such as wars, famines, earthquakes, increased lawlessness, persecution of believers, and the gospel being preached to all nations. These are described as “birth pains,” meaning they signal that the end is drawing near but do not pinpoint an exact time. Jesus clearly states in Matthew 24:36 that no one knows the day or hour of His return—not even the angels or the Son, but only the Father. Therefore, Christians are called to stay spiritually alert and prepared, rather than trying to predict dates or specific timelines. While many current events resemble biblical signs, similar occurrences have happened throughout history—during the Roman Empire, the Black Death, and the World Wars—leading believers in every era to wonder if the end was near. This pattern shows that the signs are ongoing reminders of Christ’s promised return, not necessarily indications of immediate fulfillment. From a biblical perspective, we are always to live as though Jesus could return at any moment. The Bible emphasizes readiness, holy living, and encouraging one another with the hope of His coming, rather than focusing on trying to determine how close we are. In summary, while current world events align with some biblical signs of the end times, Scripture urges believers to focus on faithfulness and watchfulness. The second coming could be soon, but the exact timing remains unknown—our priority is to live prepared and continue spreading the gospel. |

Jesus spoke about His second coming several times in the Gospels. His words emphasize watchfulness, readiness, and the unexpected nature of His return. Here are some key teachings: --- 1. It Will Be Unexpected > Matthew 24:36 (ESV): “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Jesus makes it clear that the exact time of His return is unknown—even to Himself during His earthly ministry. --- 2. It Will Be Visible and Glorious > Matthew 24:27 (ESV): “For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” > Matthew 24:30 (ESV): “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man... and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” His return will be unmistakable and seen by all. --- 3. Be Watchful and Ready > Matthew 24:42–44 (ESV): “Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming... you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” > Mark 13:35–37 (ESV): “Stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come... And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.” Jesus urges continual vigilance and spiritual preparedness. --- 4. It Will Be a Time of Judgment > Matthew 25:31–32 (ESV): “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another…” This is part of the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, where Jesus speaks of final judgment. --- 5. Signs Will Precede It > Luke 21:25–28 (ESV): “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars... People fainting with fear... And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” He mentions cosmic disturbances and global distress as signs pointing to His return. |

OT2024:There are two comings of our Lord. The first is the rapture which could happen anytime. The second is when he comes back to the earth visibly to end reign of the Anti Christ and establish His Millennium Reign on earth. |

You are waiting for the second coming of the Roman empire invented Christ. The real Jewish messiah will be born of a man and woman, he will be anointed as a king and will rule the whole world and make everyone to follow the Original Torah in His first coming |

OT2024:You people are terribly misunderstanding the bible. The bible did not tell us anywhere that those signs of Jesus coming written in the bible signifies anything in our current day or any time in the future! Infact, there is absolutely nothing written in the bible that has any significance to our current day or future except for the moral lessons and faith we can get from it. Our current day or future was never mentioned anywhere in the bible. If you take a critical read to your understanding, the signs of Jesus coming refers to either : 1.The signs of Jesus coming to die and resurrect which has already happened 2. Or the day of our death. Ie Jesus coming to judge us when we die And we all know that people die everyday, so in the real sense there is no special day of Jesus coming. |

Jesus talked about two different events in the Bible book of Matthew 24. The first mistranslated "coming" actually means "presence" so what this connotes is that by the time Jesus is given the kingship to start judging in the midst of his enemies {Psalms 110:1-2} his first line of action is to sack Satan and all his demons out of heaven! Revelations 12:7 What will be the effect of this event on planet earth? Satan and his demons will come down to the earth and start causing trouble for mankind {Revelations 12:11-12} that is what Jesus explained in his message at Matthew 24:7-13 But when will all these bad occurrences end completely? That is what Jesus said he himself does not know neither the angels in heaven except his father who has the final say! So the first event regarding Jesus' presence in power as king in heaven will be obvious due to the circumstances we will find ourselves on earth but when will it end completely Jesus said nobody knows except the only true God! |

Paulscholari:The Roman empire conquered and colonised Israel around two thousand years ago just like Europe conquered and colonised Africa in the 1800s, but the Israelites then fought back against the Roman empire for about 150 years, so to help stop this the Roman empire invented a gentle messiah they named your Jesus Christ, that could not fix the world in his first coming but you are made to believe he will come back in an invented second coming to fix this world. But the real Jewish messiah will be born of a man and woman, he will be anointed as a king and will rule the whole world and make everyone to follow the Original Torah in His first coming. |

The beasts in the Book of Revelation are some of the most vivid and symbolic images in the Bible, and their meaning has been debated for centuries. --- What do the beasts in Revelation represent? The beasts in Revelation (mainly chapters 13 and 17) are generally understood as symbolic figures representing: 1. Political Power and Empire The Beast from the Sea (Revelation 13:1-10) is often interpreted as a symbol of oppressive political regimes or empires that oppose God’s people. It has features of multiple animals, symbolizing a combination of traits or kingdoms. Historically, many have associated this beast with the Roman Empire (in the context of when Revelation was written) or any powerful government that persecutes believers. 2. Religious Corruption and False Prophecy The Beast from the Earth (Revelation 13:11-18), sometimes called the false prophet, is thought to represent corrupt religious authorities or systems that support the oppressive political power, promoting idolatry and deception. 3. Evil and Opposition to God Both beasts represent forces that oppose God’s rule and persecute the faithful. They embody evil powers working in the world in the "end times." 4. Symbolic rather than Literal Most scholars agree these beasts are symbolic, not literal monsters. Their traits (like seven heads, ten horns) are symbolic language for complex political and spiritual realities. --- Are we truly in the End Time? This is a huge question and depends on perspective: From a Christian theological standpoint: Many Christians believe we are living in the "last days" or "end times," because Jesus said the end would come like a thief in the night (Matthew 24) and that the church would experience trials and tribulations until His return. Signs often cited for End Times: Wars, natural disasters, moral decay, increased knowledge, and global turmoil—many see these as aligning with biblical prophecies. Different interpretations: Some view Revelation as mostly symbolic and applying throughout history, not just a single future event. Others see the end times as imminent and near. No one knows the exact time: Jesus said in Matthew 24:36, "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." --- In short: The beasts represent oppressive political and religious powers opposing God. Whether we are in the end times depends on theological interpretation, but many believe the signs indicate we could be living in that era. The timing is unknown, so many see it as a call to be spiritually ready rather than to pinpoint an exact date. |
