I understand you, but the truth is Iran has already won. When an enemy missile can hit anywhere at anytime causing massive infrastructure and economic destruction you’re doomed. What we’re seeing now is like watching an accident in slow motion, the end result is obvious. If this goes on for like 3 to 6 months Israel might not survive as a state. This is a big miscalculation of the west again ( apparently leant nothing from Russia) , they thought Iran is just a bigger Iraq. Even if usa joins the war they can’t save Israel from those ballistic missiles, they just blow up civilian infrastructure, that’s why they want peace. If you take a critical look, neither the US nor iran wants to go to war.

Trump's action was childish, if you look at is twits before and after the bombing shows he is not ready to engage in war with iran but he found himself in a situation where he needs to make a statement and he did.

The bombing wasn't a surprise hit as news about the movement of the b-2 has been on for a few days don't be surprise if the Iranian were informed about an impending attack to avoid casualty.

So far so good there is no report of any casualty on the part of the Iranians, now trump feels he has acted as he should so as to project America's strength. Now the ball is in the hand of Iran.

If they don't respond it will look like they are weak but if they respond and it causes casualty to Americas personnel, then they will both find themselves in the very situation they are trying to avoid.

As for those rejoicing about the US attacking Iran's nuclear sites, I don't think those bomb will do any real damage. The worse it can do is seal the entrance or cause minor collapse were the structure is weakest.

Those bombs are design for man made structure they are not designed for a case like this, I don't think they have been tested against something like this so this present a perfect opportunity to test it.

Also I don't think the enriched uranium is still there, I seen a lot argument here and there if they were evacuated, I am very sure would have since been transferred to a secure location.

You don't need very large quantities to make a nuclear bomb or to generate power. Transferring them to a safe locate is not hard, specialized lead containers with keep radioactivity contained during transport and storage.

On the defense side of Iran, I think they should swallow their pride and go for the Russian s400 units, I don't see anything wrong in home grown tech but there is nothing wrong in operating and incorporating a wide range of air defense system.

At present the war is going to take a heavy toll on both Israel and iran. Iran will hitting main land Israel while will keep taking out high value target which is demoralizing.

Iran needs a Sam system that has a long range to fully protect it airspace.
