I agree with this. Nigerians in general are very friendly. We do have a large number of knuckleheads but they are just a lousy minority.

I'm surprised Ghana is not high up there. Friendly people.

The main reason they treat us badly in our country

The most selective :" wicked" "racist" " xenophobic " countries are usually the most sort after by visitors and migrants.

Even in dating .....the more beautiful and well-off a woman is ,the more she becomes selective; " wicked" " unpleasant " to the suitors coming her way in every breathing moment ( both nice and rude). The less attractive a woman is ,the more friendlier she is to the few males that give her some attention ( both nice and rude) .

Mostly the Yorubas are very accomoeating to the fault. I heard, some tribes in Benue State, uses their wife to serve visitor.

indeed I quite agree with the stats…..most foreigners that come into the country,come through Lagos and about 90% resident in Lagos and SW state, and people from this geographical location are widely known to be liberal and accommodative in nature that’s why the region still accounts for 21% of the total number of Nigerians and also foreigners

That should be South West and probably North Central of Nigeria ,no other regions welcome strangers as the aforementioned!

Something to think about .

I want to believe that this so called hospitality is mostly eye service sha. Charity begins at home so why love strangers more than your own selves?

No debating that...

We should even rank higher, cause Nigeria in some cases even value strangers than their family.

What is common among the listed countries is that they are all third-world countries and would portray kindness to strangers, not necessarily to themselves.If we are friendly, Nigerians would not be killing Nigerians

They are still friendly,
They are still the breadbasket of Europe and a major exporter of grains,
They created the world's largest aircraft, the Antonov An-225 Mriya
They won 7 medals (2 gold) from 2024 Olympics
They took 3rd position in World games with 45 medals
They took 7 position in Paralympics with 82 medals

Nigeria has all the potentials to be greater than Ukraine if only we genuinely love one another and our country.

The list is incomplete without Edo State.
