What happened to custom recruitment? We applied since January and up till now nothing has come out of it. I have been applying to get a government job since 2012 and not even once has my name been shortlisted. Is it because I'm from the South East?

It is because you don't know anyone to help you push it. This is not about tribe, Igbo get federal government job on a daily basis in this country but the question is, who do you know?

Obviously immigration has the best pay because is a revenue, generating agency just like customs.

I missed out on NSCDC back in 2021, so painful after getting shortlisted for screening.

Hmmm... This country called Nigeria. Where are the Nigerian youths looking for job. Where is your voice, why are you not saying anything concerning recruitment in this country. The federal civil service commission that called for application and closed since March 2025 is yet to give any feedback on the test or exam for the recruitment. There are other recruitment like that that we were yet to hear anything for the past 3 to 6 Months of submitting application. And this one that will commence on Thursday, only God knows when we are going to proceed to the next phase after application. What is really happening in Nigeria. The lawmakers have their candidates already and other prominent politicians in Nigeria. I pray that God will count me among those that will make it.

The 2025 recruitment for Agencies under the Ministry of Interior will be opened on the 26th June,2025. The agencies include:
Immigration
Fire Service
Correctional Service
Civil Defence and
The Board
The instruction there is,you are mandated to only apply for just one agency as multiple application will be disqualified.

Consequently, the portal will be opened for just 3 WEEKS.

There is corruption in the Civil service. Some of them don’t even touch their salaries
