If there is one thing I was sure President Tinubu will get right is to have a competent team. His cabinet is a joke, the largest in Nigeria's history. Maybe there are only 5 Ministers that can be called Ministers in my time, 20 years prior. Who is the Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in this cabinet. Who is the Oby Ezekwesili?

El-Rufai: Anytime I wake up and see President Tinubu and his team inflicting pains on Nigerians and bungle the simplest things in Governance, things I knew even as DG of BPE,, these guys can't just get it right, I thank God, I am a lucky person. Are you indirectly supporting hell rufai or what exactly 🤔

I think in Two years Wike has done a lot more than El Rufai did for the people of Abuja

I am not one of those that support Tinubu but Ido not see anything better coming from ElRufai Obi Atiku or Amaechi

The reality is that No President since 1999 has done anything that has left any lasting impact on the lives of Nigerians

I tend to be a bit more sympathetic to Tinubu in terms of the economy

I think considering what he inherited he has done VERY WELL
he has removed subsidy , floated Naira , cleared off the Trapped airline funds and increased confidence of investors
People have zero understanding of the impact of the money that Emefiele printed on the economy . Money that was spent with nothing to show which we will pay back for decades
I salute his courage in pushing through the tax reform bill
He introduces student loan
The Interior Minister is doing well
Keyamo recently secured a slot at Heathrow for Air Peace
Wike is doing well IN ABUJA
He needs to remove Ministers that are not performing e.g Defence and NSA , Agriculture, Trade
He did well to remove the precious education Minister
The areas I have a problem with him are

Security
Wastefulness.. He has asked Nigerians to sacrifice and he and the legislators are living in luxury spending money on VP residence and ICC were misplaced priorities. Spending billions on Hajj last year was crazy in my opinion
Often he has treated Nigerians with disdain with his utterances and overseas travel
It is still not clear what the strategy is for power thought he has made moves to settle litigation around the Mambilla Plateau and so hopefully that can move forward

At the structural level there is only so much the Federal government can do and so I commend him for steps in moving for LGA autonomy. That does not go far enough > We need less Federal government and more state government

Governors have more money and they need to be held accountable more


That is where we have schools , hospitals, sanitation and where we should have policing too So restructuring needs to happen

One needs to be able to assess Tinubu fairly and in a balanced and realistic way .



I think in future presidency should be for ONE TERM only so that the president does not get distracted by second term politics
It is 2 years in and I will give him 5/10 .

Life is hard for many Nigerians but that was going to be the case regardless of who succeeded Buhari. TInubu and his people have not shown empathy which is very similar to Buhari and so I cannot see any measure by which Buhari is better than Tinubu
However A game changer and saving grace is Dangote's refinery without which we may even be facing collapse. Ultimately if anyone must be given credit it has to be Buhari even thought the funding from the CBN was dubious

Nigeria will be fine and we must see a future after Tinubu


It is sad that Nigeria is divided into the camps of Tinubu supporters who pretend is is doing great and those who lost in 2023 and remain embittered about it .

I think the worst is now behind us . More than half of our population is under 18 years. Young people cannot rely on politicians alone to shape their futures

All these people have always been hungry. A first class student from ABU zaria is ahead of many naturally. He is from a wealthy family and not criminal past.He was DG and handled many privatisation assets, minister of fct and governor.
