Someone booked today for a visa appointment and admission letter and blocked account was optional. I tried to book now but I need to submit admission letter and blocked account. What am I doing differently?

I want to ask a quick question: I received my appointment date on June 3rd for July 2nd. Right after that, I started preparing all my documents — everything is now complete and up to date, including enrollment, etc.

The only thing is: my SL is already 7 months old. I had to open it early because I wasn’t sure when I’d get an appointment, and I didn’t want to be unprepared. Now after waiting 1 year and 9 months, I finally got the date.

I asked my brother to help renew the SL quickly, but it looks like it won’t be ready in time for July 2nd. So I’m wondering: will this be a problem? Could they turn me away at the gate, or could the visa officer refuse me just because my SL is 7 months old? What can I do?

Tübingen is undoubtedly a great university, but it now charges tuition fees. You might want to consider several other tuition-free universities that allow you to defer or reapply using your previous admission letter.

I also got admission in Tubingen for winter season this year, but I was communicated yesterday that I need to pay tuition fees of 1700£ per semester for my enrollment to be complete as against the free-tuition fees before.My interview date is fast approaching

Hello everyone, I used statement of result to apply for school and got an admission with it and now my appointment date is very close. I don't think it will be easy to get my original cert from my school. I'm asking whether they will accept the statement of result on the interview day??. I know someone will reply

All appointments have been digitalized and you have to use the Consular Portal.

That’s not how it works. You give your details to book an appointment, if you choose not to go, they cancel it and move to the next person in line. You can’t give anybody your appointment slot.

is that possible to do? I thought the passport number will be different and that would cause issues.

I once heard about people selling appointments though only possible from the old portal

Please I need advice from those who have experience with the German visa process.

I applied for a student visa appointment in October 2024 through the RK-Termin link old system, and I never cancelled it. I don’t know if it’s still active or not because I never got any updates.

When the new portal came out I also applied again on the Consular Services Portal.

Now I’m confused — both applications were made with the same passport , and I don’t know if it will count as duplication or cause the German embassy to block me or cancel both.

I have sent an email to the consulate but no response yet.

Please has anyone been in this situation? Should I be worried? Will they automatically cancel both applications or block me?

Any advice would really help. 🙏🏽

Are category A students still being considered? How long will it take to get appointment as PhD student

Search for Dr Walter Educare24 or Provisit. There would be an option to start paying for it when you get to Germany.

Good Morning. Please someone who has an idea could respond. I booked for an appointment(Student Visa) in Nigeria(Lagos) under the old booking system and I'm on the waiting list. I also went ahead to book with the Accra Embassy still under the old booking system (just to explore other options,since their waiting period was 16 weeks and i have their residence permit).
Last week the Accra Embassy sent me a mail to go register under the new consular portal for student visa a d submit my documents so they prioritise my aplication since I have been waiting for so long.

Now the question is,I'm not in a haste or rush for anything. Whats the Advise, do i go ahead to register and upload my documents on their new portal? Does this have any ripple effect on my booking with the Lagos Embassy? As i do not want to make any silly mistake. Are multiple applications allowed for same category of visa in different countries??
