A political firestorm has ignited following an interview by former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Arise Television, excerpts of which were shared by Leadership Newspaper. In the interview, El-Rufai controversially claimed,

“I brought Evil Tinubu to power, I should remove him now,” which is said to be signaling a dramatic fallout with President Bola Tinubu. The statement, reported just few hours before Lere Olayinka, an aide to Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, took to X to respond.


Olayinka, known for his sharp political commentary, dismissed El-Rufai’s assertion, stating, “Èsù kékeré òde is still dreaming
Someone who said he paid terrorists as governor. Mtcheeeeew.”

His remarks allude to El-Rufai’s past admission on live television of paying herders and terrorists during his 2015-2023 tenure, a policy criticized for potentially fueling regional instability.

The aide’s retort is said to suggest a deep-seated skepticism about El-Rufai’s credibility, aligning with Minister Wike’s long-standing narrative.

Lere Olayinka is historically right. From the ABOVE quote, it's indeed VERY CLEAR that Nasir El-Rufai is a truly psychotic man with his vile use of adjectives.

This is the same person the good people of Southern Kaduna had to put up with when he was the Governor of Kaduna State for 2-terms and he encouraged by his actions and inactions his foreign Fula kinsmen to kill Southern Kaduna folks at will. Through the network of Miyetti Allah [whose membership unknown to a lot of Nigerians is made up of over 95% foreign Fulanis from Niger Republic, Mali, Guinea, Cameroon, etc], Nasir gave out millions of Nigeria's funds as compensations to the foreign Cameroonian Fulani herdsmen cum bandits (because it was the same herders who came back armed into Nigeria as militia bandits) who killed hundreds of indigenous people in Southern Kaduna instead of getting the INTERPOL to arrest them and charge them to court for mass murders.

Indeed, I have ATTACHED right BELOW the interview he granted to Channels Television in February 2017 where he bluntly said he paid compensations to those foreign Fulanis and he received a firestorm of criticisms from the media, Nigerians and folks such as 'Femi Fani-Kayode [who himself is paternally Yoruba from Ile Ife BUT is of one-eight Fulani descent] who wrote articles criticizing Nasir for paying that money and shielding his foreign Fulani kinsmen from prosecution.


Watch the FIRST video from the timestamp 8:00 minutes to see what Nasir El-Rufai said in February 2017 about the money paid by his government to foreign Fulani herdsmen to stop the revenge killings in Southern Kaduna (for an alleged 2011 killing of foreign fulanis). That payment was highly IRRESPONSIBLE of Nasir (when the so-called foreign Fulani killers were well-known through the LARGELY foreign Fulani dominated Miyetti Allah) and they should have been arrested, brought back right into Nigeria with the help of the INTERPOL, and summarily prosecuted for long-term peace to reign.
