This includes court wedding, introduction, and traditional wedding reception (where the guests are expected)

It's too much.... U feeding the full community because there would be lots of wastage... Cut ur coat well ....... Present a budget of 4mill.. work with it.... Don't spend like u have much to waste . After marriage keep money for house holds

Add 15 million naira more....u know u have to feed them well

N10m/150 = 67k to be spent on each stranger to announce to them you're going to get married. You can as well just round it up to 100k per guest making N15m.

I hope the girl is contributing at least 30% of the expenses? N10m is too much. Use N5m and keep the rest. There's no first position in marriage.

To help yourself
Spend only 2 million and keep the 8 for your business or wife's dealing

Marriage can consume that in a day and you will.be looking for.more

So just relax
The most important part of your wedding is the pronouncements of the blessings
Every other thing is formalities and most likely a waste
Weeding is not the main thing

Thanks for your contribution, but the wedding was successful and total expense was over #20m.

I underestimated the cost of things in nigeria.

Well it cost more than 20m. Thank God I could afford it without breaking a sweat. My initial post was due to my long absence from Nigeria, wasn't sure how expensive things have become .
