And if money was the real reason people travel out, many will return after making the money but that is not the case. If in doubt, you can check what % of folks who travel out return before retirement?

A very good topic to research. Honestly, I hope to track Nigerians who emigrated during the '80s - '90s to see how many returned permanently. If I cannot, I will follow up with those who emigrated 2015 - 2025. So, we are looking at 2030 - 2045 to see if there will be a japada of sort.

I have loved in both US and UK and I can tell you nothing beats being in your home country. The only thing that makes people to remain abroad is greener pastures and once you have money there is very little that will make you want to remain abroad.

The speed I'll use to disengage form this country would shock the plane that carries me out.

Every one is now shouting that they will stay back because real information about abroad has now spread across. I remember 3 to 4 yrs ago at the height of the japa madness in Nigeria when I and some other people here were dropping anti japa thread here back to back informing our people about actual realities of the Western world.

We were called names and were attacked by uninformed Nigerians. Today information done spread, their eyes done open.

I will stay of course, and be vacationing every 6 months, Jan - June Ibiza, July -Dec, the Caribbeans like that like that

It may be unsightly for you but it works quite well for me. Don't overthink it please. There are times when a single word is more impactful than a string of words or sentences.

If I have all the money I need, I will use it and find a country where there is peace, and relocate all my family and kindred there with me seff..
