I don't understand why some folks here are mad with Iran playing to the purported ceasefire declared by Trump. Iran was never going to fight on forever, that's the sad reality.

One thing is clear now.

This war is a gift from Israel to Iran. Why?

It's gives the Iranians the perfect opportunity to understand the depth of Mossad infiltration, the enemy's infiltration tactics, weapon type, and how they perform assassination ops from the inside. With this knowledge, the IRGC should be able to do a thorough, if not perfect in-house cleaning, and up their counter terrorist and counterintelligence ops that would take Mossad and CIA many years of hard work to overcome.

Moreover, Iran now have the perfect excuse to get a nuclear bomb, which is a sure banker now.

Lastly, this war put Netanyahoo political future in jeopardy given that Iran was able to deal massive blows to Israel who despite the initial success with the surprise attack failed to achieve its primary objective of destroying Iran's nuke program. Hence, it was a disastrous failure and defeat for Israel. Wars are about objectives. If you fail to achieve your primary objectives, you have lost the war.

Contrary to what people thinks, Iran will come out the stronger and better of the two while Netanyahoo comes out with a shamed and defeated look. Helis expectations that the US would go all in to finish what he started backfired against him spectacularly.

Result...Iran won this round convincingly.
