they do not need to convince you, once they roll good pricing models for their data plans, everyone will fall in line. Data is too expensive in Nigeria that is why streaming services are finding it difficult to survive. There is no unlimited data bundle, while in Europe you can get full unlimited contract for an equivalent of 45,000 Naira. 45k in Nigeria will not give you full unlimited.

It was actually the other way around @bolded. Other networks were charging per minute and glo came in with per second billing.

This is welcome development, I support anything that will dislodge MTN and other useless networks we're currently using in Nigeria.

Same way I'll support any coalition that will dislodge Tinubu in 2027.

Especially if the coalition is led by those who have been committed and consistent about deregulation and privatisation capitalism that opened up the telecom sector to competition 25 years ago instead of the subsidy-soaking NITEL.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

Very correct. They are still there in UK. I am hoping they can make calls to and from UK to Nigeria cheaper. Now that they have access to Nigerian markets.

Glo started on per seconds while mtn and Econet/Airtel/vmobile/Zain were calling on per minute. That was why people were using time to make sure they don't go over the specified minutes they want to call in order not to pay more . Thanks

Work on your data plan and your strength will be porting so users can still maintain dere numbers

that 'buy minutes and not airtime' is like saying '6 and not half dozen'. The main thing is how much per minute and we compare with the traditional ones we have here.
