A Nigerian father attempted to mock me on father's day because my daughter hilda painted my toenails again in my sleep so I told him a little poem to let him understand investment in daughters by her father means she wont grow up to be a single mother for 3 men like his daughter, so here goes.....

Im a big manly man and beard on chin with muscles and stubble and thick leathery skin

I grunt when I stretch and snore in my sleep, but ill twirl in a damn tutu without missing a beat, my daughters my boss and ill do as she pleases, she paints my nails in soft pinks and it teases, she brushes my with a bright plastic comb then says, youre a princess now spin and prance home

We prance and we dance in a colourful parade, we belt out bollards in sparkles and shades

My daughter is all i have left of my wife and shes what keeps going and keeps me fighting

So what if my daughter is a tad darker than me? I love her whole heart if needs be im a meat shield to protect her, shes my pride and joy and best investment

She has a viking spirit but her mothers empathy

Every slave that got there was separated from their family here in Africa, and these families are were some of us descended from so basically we were also at the mercy of these leaders that the whiteman traded with.
