People often say the best answer when asked “if you know anyone in Germany” is “NO” so it doesn’t give this family reunion vibe..

What do y’all suggest I say when asked the question??

Whoever told you that doesn't know anything about the German visa process, or is ignorant about the possibilities. Be careful about such people even when you get to Germany. They openly display their ignorance and tell you "we've been here". Most importantly, avoid those who entered Germany via asylum. Just my two cents.

The ausländerbehörde appreciates that you have someone in Germany. This actually shows strong ties. I've heard baseless claims also about them preferring BA for SL lol. So laughable.

Make sure you input your cousin as your reference.

Please, I was called by the embassy to upload a valid driver's license of my father because he signed the deponent. I have done that but they said the signature does not match. I don't know what else to do again but he was the one that signed it.

Check if the signatures are different. If they are, I think it’s possible to make an affidavit for signature differences, and good news, there’s an electronic system for it now.

I need some advice or insight from those who may have gone through a similar situation.

I received admission into a German university toward the end of April, and I applied for my student visa in June. It’s now been about 3 weeks, and I’ve been on the waiting list ever since.

The university's semester is starting in October, and I’m starting to get a bit anxious about the timeline. I know processing times can vary, but I’d really appreciate hearing from others who have applied recently or have experience with the German visa process.

How long did it take for you to move from the waiting list to being given an appointment or getting the visa?

Is there anything I can do while waiting to speed things up or at least follow up properly?

If you are using expatrio, based on my experience, sending euro to the block account, confirmation was less than a minute

Thanks, please how do I go about it. The said amount is my Nigeria's Bank account.please explain to me how do I block or transfer the naira equivalent to the exptrio block account because I don't want to make any mistake.

I recently received my admission letter from Trier university of applied science for a bachelor of engineering program, and I was told to upload my document again on their admission portal which I did, this is over 3 weeks I am yet to get a response to follow up for me to proceed with my enrolment.
