Northern foods are something else. I was never attracted to them due to how I see them putting raw Maggi seasonings and raw groundnut oil😀 But I see them enjoying it though. And I like Massa, it looked good and clean, never ate one either but would have liked to, maybe someday. I enjoyed koko de kose, that one is superb! |

LocalFARMERS:With their known level of hygiene, if your immunity is not "kakaraka" you surely will be getting a dose of typhoid as jara along side the nutrition.

God bless Northern Nigeria. If not for insecurities, no place or region is better than the North in Nigeria. Everything is affordable. The locals are loyal and ready to serve you with everything they've got. |

That first food awara wey dem dey use soya beans do no dey sweet. Their biski soup na nonsense, for Bauchi here na masa dey reign but I no like am too, if they fry potatoes they can't even do as common as pepper stew for you to use take chop am na that yaji abi yagi wey too much maggi and pepper dem go put, their akara dey too small like wetin no good, abi na their dawanke ? Pray make you no see where dem dey cook am or else you no go ever taste am again. The only food I enjoy for this Bauchi na their suya, dabino and date other food na me dey cook am by myself. Though I never explore the place well maybe in the later coming months I may end up to most of their foods but for now I have no stomach for them. |

I’m from the East but i grew up in the north, sokoto precisely, north was the sweetest place to live in the whole country back then, but the story is not thesame now. Islamic terrorists and banditry has turned north to something else. It will never be well with those extremists and their sponsors. I miss masa and kununzaki.

The way I see them preparing their foods here in Lagos especially the Alaba Rago axis where I know very well. I doubt I will ever eat any of their food even if I am starving to death. Apologies to those who do eat it o! |

Their food looks nice, but hygiene is the greatest problem. I always reheat their suya, kulikuli, kilishi, and groundnuts before consumption. When that's not possible, I abstain. |

Awara was bae while I was schooling over there. I still miss the Fura de nunu that I washed it down with. Na bad religion spoil that region but I still prefer them over the serpents. |

Fura de nunu of that year. I couldn't bring myself to tasting it because of fear of ruining my digestive system. The appearance of those Fulani milk maids that sell them was a turn off for me. . I couldn't risk dehydration in a hostile environment. |
