War is about achieving your objectives. Did Israel or America destroyed Iran's ability to build nuclear weapons? No, infact it has made them see nuclear weapons as the only weapon that can guarantee their survival and a must have. Did it destroy Iran's missile capabilities? No as Iran still have many ballistic missiles and ability to produce more. Was Israel and America able to topple the regime? No infact the country has been more united against America and m the Zionist. The still chant deat# to America and Israel.

Killed general can be replaced. Killed scientists is not a problem Mossad has been doing that for over a decade yet nuclear scientists did go into extinction in Iran. Iran's nuclear tech-know how is very decentralised the country has trained hundreds of scientists and they keep passing the knowledge to coming generations.

Iran is coming back stronger.

Rest.....
Simple question, is Iran closer to a nuke today or before the war.

Wonders they say will never end!!, you said you are busy, you have a life outside this thread, which is completely normal, One would be stupid to dedicate his or her whole time and resources on international banter on a faceless forum without any form of financial numeratiom.

My issue is that you have been so busy, and the only spare time you could manage out of your busy schedule to contribute your "superior intelligence" on the thread, and the theme of your epistles is centred upon "Gbadebo19".

What kind of obsessions should we call this now??.
You would think after the long absence, he would come and be enlightening people on what he has learned and unlearned. But no. Gbadebo19 is responsible for his family's spiritual, mental and health problems.

The Israeli Defense Minister boasted that an event that will make the pager explosions look like child's play will happen the following Friday.

That was last week by the way. Mossad cells got busted, foiling all their plans.

First to do no dey pain. These people have taught Iran and Russia how to carry out proper terrorism.

They'll suffer for years to come. Terrorists worldwide are watching and learning. By the time pagers, iPads and cell phones start exploding in US bound flights, they'll realize what they've done.

Russia killed 2 Ukrainian Army Lt. Colonels using a package explosion just last week. It was reported on Ukranian telegram channels.

Western media hid it from the public because they encouraged it.
Terrorism in the age of autonomy will be a nightmare.

The Hegemony opened Pandora's box.

I love this thread alot, but the level of narrative twisting to change facts here is extreme. Israel truly got a bleeding nose in this conflict but to say that Iran, who lost top military and civilian leaders, with a Mossad infested defense system, won the war should be the comedy pinnacle of the century.
Someone here was saying that Israel hid much of her casualties, meanwhile the Internet was shut down in Iran all through.
I can't imagine celebrating victory after a fight that killed the members of my team, no member of my opponent team is dead, and a ceasefire that was planned and brokered by my opponents team. That's the joke of the decade.
Few pro Iranians here have seen through the thing. Celebrating mediocrity is nonsensical. Iran needs to up their game. Their intelligence is whack. They're always in the defensive instead of in the offensive, they always wait for Israel to attack before standing up to act. They are always caught off guard. Haniyeh was killed in Tehran of all places and people here are celebrating imaginary Iranian victory.
Will Putin celebrate if Ukraine takes out his top scientists and generals right in the heart of Moscow? Sounds stupid right?
Emotional jamboree while dancing on an avalanche of admissibility does not equate nor define true reality.

Wars are defined, fought, and gauged on the basics of objectives, not merely on the amount of hits scored.

Israel's primary objectives that prompted the criminal attack on Iran:

1. Destroy Iran's nuclear program.

2. Regime change in Iran (basically through the chaos and carnage that the large Mossad
sleeper cells network and collaborators were supposed to have caused).

Results:

1. Iran's nuclear program remained intact.
2. The current Iranian leadership still thrives and rules on.

Miscellaneous outcome:
3. Israel was badly bloodied.
4. For the first time since 1948, thousands of Jews fled the holy Land to become refugees in another man's land.

4. Even the prime minister Netanyahoo fled.
5. Iranians did not flee and became refugees anywhere else.

It was a bad Gambit by toadface Netanyahoo and a bad loss for the entire nation.

You don't have to be sentimental to see that this was a clear victory for Iran.

shoodboi2:
Victory is not evaluated based on casualties. It is evaluated based on objectives. Did Israel achieve its military objectives?

The answer is no and that is by a wide margin. Israel didn't even achieve its secondary objectives not to talk of the primary one.

Did Iran achieve its military objectives? The answer is yes. It prevented regime change and protected its nuclear program from destruction. It also established deterrence, which made even the US and Saudi Arabia to tread carefully.

The war also exposed the Mossad cells in Iran and Iran has been collapsing them in numbers. This part was so successful that Iran prevented lots of drone and spike missiles attacks from just collapsing these cells.

The presence of these Mossad cells in Iran also implicated Israel and even the US itself. Iran busted Mossad drone manufacturing factories and warehouses right inside Tehran. This shows the Israeli attack was a sophisticated program that has been in the works for years.

In other words, Israel had planned this operation for years. This clearly makes Israel the aggressor rather than the victim.

As for the Internet shutdown, there are two reasons for this. The first is that Iran's network infrastructure came under an Israeli cyberattack at some point.

The second is that Mossad controls those drones using internet provided by Iranian sim cards. (The same thing happened in Russia where the drones were controlled using Russian sim cards.) Shutting down the internet effectively shut down many drones and spike attacks.

Also, while you try to latch onto Iran shutting down the internet, you failed to acknowledge that Israel passed laws banning its own people from posting photos of Iranian impacts. Israel also banned the media from publishing news without the approval of its ministry of defence.

The Internet shutdown and law prevented images from leaking in both countries, but it was more effective in Israel than in Iran. Nonetheless, we still saw lots of photos and videos from both sides despite them. So, there's that.

You also talked about Iran being on the defensive rather than the offensive. Are you saying your views about this war would have changed if Iran was the one that attacked first? Because I know it won't.

If Iran attacked first, you guys would have blamed it for starting the war. Now that Israel attacked first, you're accusing Iran of not attacking first. Isn't that weird? We know you support Israel. Support them with your full chest instead of coming up with self-assuring statements that whitewash Israel.

Iran clearly doesn't want a war. Israel did. And Israel got it and chickened out once it realized Iran had the right to defend itself. So, blame Israel for always being on the offensive and not Iran for always being on the defensive.

If there is no offense, there wouldn't be a defense. If Israel did not attack, Iran will not retaliate. So Israel should receive the full blame for the war and not Iran.

Lastly, you talk of a "ceasefire planned brokered by Iran's enemies". Is that another way of saying that Iran's enemies asked for a ceasefire? Because that is what you said right there. And if anything, it proves that Israel was the one taking a beating.
1.No matter your opponents objectives, if you lost VVIPs, it's very bad.
2. Iran did show it's strong but for the fact that Mossad could be strolling and recruiting agents right on their soil and the Israeli Air Force could even enter their airspace and operate brought down their respect before their neighbors.
3. Iran has been busting Mossad cells since I could remember. Those agents and spies will be replaced and the network reestablished.
4. Israel has always been proud of being the aggressor, hence, the worldwide condemnation. Netanyahu has boasted several times in front of the UNGA about attacking Iran. The Israelis have never hidden it.
5. I agree with you. Iran doesn't want war. Not even Trump does. But the Jews are war maniacs. Having such an aggressive opponent would require you uping your game. This laxity in Iran's intelligence is one of the reasons why China and Russia don't take them serious.
6. Finally, being on the offensive here mean conducting operations from within Israel just the same way Israel is doing. Take out Israeli political, military and scientific personnel from within Israel. That's how to match the Israelis, not by funding terrorist groups, a move which always ends up making Iran look like the bad guy, and attract hatred from even her fellow Islamic states.
These are my own views anyways. No hard feelings...

Stop using wack analogy. The killing of generals and scientists were for a strategic purpose which Israel did not achieve. The killing of generals and scientists is not the real issue the question is did Israel achieve the goal for which those generals and scientists were killed?

Or did you think Israel just went in to go and kill generals and scientists just to cause sorrow for their families? Are you sure you are not a 10year old with this level of reasoning?
I gave you an analogy and all you can do is insult me? And you still didn't answer my question. I prefer to dialog with shoodboi2, he's more matured...

Once upon a time Zelensky planned to seize Belgorod and Kursk and exchange it for other Ukranian territories held by Russia.

Today Russia is a few steps away from completely annexing Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk.

THE END!

There is something called friends with benefits. It's nobody's fault that your darling Iran has no friends. Even Muslim countries around that place are not friends with it.
But the whole world must be wrong while you and your midgets must be right. Assuming US and Israel are wrong, those muslim countries also don't know what they are doing. Right? The intelligence of all those countries are wrong while you, Nairaland armchair war analyst is the right person. Mtcheeew!!Deal with it.
You really shouldn't be crying, before Ukraine started getting help, Belarus was a collaborator with Russia that allowed your teddy bear army have a few modest gains in the early days of the war. Its territory was effectively used to launch assault at Ukraine on multiple fronts but that's fine. Right?
@bolded is exactly why I always block your kind. You are incapable of having a civil discussion. I guess I'll have to renew the block soon.

That said, thanks to the performance of Iranian missiles, I have gone past the point of complaining. My post was directed at those praising Israel for its 'achievement' while ignoring the fact that they had no excuse to suffer a single damage.

But my own is Iran should not have waited till this moment. Just imagine they had been doing this operation for years and they were serious with it. Now it's time for the country to be serious with this Mossad infiltration
They knew they have spies buried within the system, but they never would have envisaged how deep the infiltration level was prior to this revelations now.

Notwithstanding , I said this war was a gift from Netanyahoo to the mullahs. Now they not only have the opportunity to do a 360 degree inhouse cleaning, but also knows the methodology of Mossad's operandi and how to counter them effectively.

If you understand the years and resources it cost to establish and maintain such level of operation, you would feel sorry for the Israeli government.

As we type, fists are slamming in frustration on table tops across different building blocks and offices in Tel Aviv now.

Honestly, I would be surprised if Netanyahoo political career survive this senseless and costly gambit.

But I would even be more surprised if Iran doesn't leverage this victory to purge their ranks, up their game and come up with better counter measures to overcome their shortcomings.

Exactly.

When Mossad demonstrated that pager ingenuity against Hezbollah, they inadvertently opened the eyes of rival intelligence and counter intelligence agencies.

Same goes for the Ukrainian drone operation against Russia strategic nuclear bombers, which opened the eyes of counter intelligence services in other countries, especially those like Iran in the crosshair of western ops.

They learned quickly from the Hezbollah and Russian experiences. That explain the quick rate at which the busting was carried out.

There are now rumours that Russian intelligence knew of the planned Mossad massive attack from within Iran and tipped the Iranians as well.

Whatever, these methods might become bad precedents set by the west as terrorists operatives can adopt them to target western capitals and assets, like the flights you mentioned.

Well, when you roll a stone, the stone would roll back on you. Na God talk am.

It is still a victory for Iran for the reasons previously mentioned.

Mossad will keep strolling across Iran if the mullahs fails to leverage this golden opportunity to do a thorough inhouse cleaning.

That place is like Nigeria I'm terms of misappropriation and management of funds. Corruption thrives among the top brass. If they don't tackle this problem now, they will face similar scenario in a few years time.

These statistics were published by Israel’s National Emergency Authority. It also noted that a third of the damaged buildings will likely be demolished.

The initial estimated cost to Israeli housing infrastructure is said to be around 1.2 billion dollars alone.
