If you are from SE and SS join the military only starting as officer which is from NDA for officers rank. You start as 2 star and in 3 yrs you have 3 star....that is captain rank

Just imagine what our nation has become and the politicians are busy gearing up for 2027 instead of putting all hands on deck to quell this fire that is slowly consuming the country. You may think this is happening far away up north but someday this will be a daily occurrence in your backyard.
Nigeria has gone. Who will see this unmotivating pictures and still join the armed forces considering the alleged saboteurs amongst their ranks? So much evil is going on on a daily basis in this country. Only God would save us.

Very unfortunate, disheartening and embarrassing for a nation that prides herself as the giant of Africa. It is obvious that this administration and successive once that have grappled with this insecurity problem ravaging the country have failed to take deliberate and decisive actions in dealing and flushing these monsters and daredevils from the surface and vicinity of our dear country because all the while our leadership have dealt with the situation with kid gloves and it is obvious that past and present political and military elder statesman have failed to publicly lend their voices to the fight against these devils in human flesh except General T.Y Danjuma. A nation where a particular set of people with political and military affluence support, sponsors and pamper terrorism and terrorist just to prove cheap political point with the blood of innocent citizens and government has not taken any drastic action like public execution against such persons, will continue to pay for such negligence of indecisive actions. May God help our political pettiness.

The least you can give your soldiers are a very good helmet and body armour. If we cannot give our soldiers these basics we might as well ban that army. It simply means the army fighting bandits are equals. Even the romans give their soldiers armour not to talk of today 2025.

...just few days ago the USA warned its citizens in Nigeria to avoid military barracks and installations. If an insurgency lasts more than 24 hours the government is involved. Government know what to do but fail to do due to the large money assigned to defense

Divide Nigeria so that those who adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system shall have their own Islamic Republic. The bandits are offshoots of Boko Haram fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system.
