So I've been at a loss for Igbo names that speak to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the meaning of our names but I want more than the typical Ugonna, Emekaetc. for our little guy. I've noticed a wave of funky baby girl names and I am hoping to compile a list of fun names for boys. If you know any, please, please share! Thanks everyone. |

i fink the op needs cenntral igbo names n not some anambara native names. e.g of a cental ibo names are Amarachi, chidera, etc. for boys: chinonso, chiemeka, chukwuma, uchechukwu, chiadika, chigozie, chinedu, chidindu, chibundu etc. |

What part of the east do you hail from...this would help me in knowing the kind of names to give to you. A typical example are names like Kalu, uko, udonsi...etc, are names you'd find only in Abia state. We have central Ibo names like Emeka, Chinedu, Ifeanyi...etc, which all Igbos bear. We also have anambra names like Onochie, moloku, okwudili, Anigbogu...etc. So be more specific, and I would be glad to help you out. |
