See you trying to trivialize hearing and vision problem as if you know the challenges people with these problems face. Why not try have a vision or hearing problem first before you can make a better judgement whether or not it is enough reason to terminate a pregnancy.
For one, people with this kind of problem are automatically screened out of most jobs, including government jobs. Also, they find it hard to find love. And mind you, this is just two of their numerous challenges that I have decided to highlight, but I bet you didn't think this deeply (or don't care at all since you aren't the one affected) before name calling others as being mad and lacking in critical thinking.

It is actually the right thing to do. There is absolutely nọ need to put yourself and the child through such long years of difficulty, pain and emotional stress.

That’s a really tough one. Honestly, it depends a lot on personal circumstances and beliefs. Some people might feel prepared and ready to take on the challenges, while others might worry about the quality of life for the child and the family’s ability to cope. There’s no right or wrong answer, just what feels right for each person. What matters most is support and understanding, no matter the choice.

It is best to terminate for the good of the child and the parent. No point bringing a liability into the world because of sentiments. When the problem start, you go forget all and any sentiment you had.

It is only logical, smart and definitely right to terminate, anyone thinking otherwise is either stupid or ignorant of the consequences of being stupid about such a case.
First of all, it is selfish to allow a kid like that to come into the world, the kid will not appreciate you for that, these things cannot be cured, a few can be managed (often times if family is well to do), the stress from this makes life much harder, drifts couples apart and can even break them up.
I have cousins who have the sickle cell disease, I know what the parents are going through, the cousins are in a hotter hell, anyday could be "the day" and it won't be one without stress , pains or medical bills, not to mention developmental abilities!

Well, a special needs certificate personnel, i would advised the foetus be terminated except the parent is well to cater for the needs of the baby.
In case you don't know, not all international schools are operating inclusive school and if they do, they are expensive. In working place, a special needs child will have his own facilitator that will moving with him in the school. Getting a facilitator on island will cost you 200 to 250k per month. Additionally, the child will sign up for Behavioral therapy, Educational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy as the case may be. Imagine a struggling parents birthing a special needs child and they want the best for th3 child. May God help us.

In other to avoid this, once your pregnancy reaches 20 weeks, please go for abnormality test in a standard diagnostic lab. There is a catholic diagnostic centre/hospital yemetu, Ibadan, they've got one of the best handler for this in the whole southwest Nigeria
